Winter's Grip, March Magic, and the Difficulty of Saying Goodnight

A little more favourable tilt of the earth this time of the year and look what happens. Of course it’s not all that, but here we are nearing the equinox and aren’t we, again, just the luckiest.
From the beginning of the night, watching the aurora begin to climb the sky ever gaining strength, it was little wonder tonight felt so much colder. You didn’t want to be inside for a moment of it. Some hours in, even with the aurora still faintly dancing in her arcs, we did all find ourselves back in the car reluctantly packing back up for Yellowknife.
