We Stole One

24 hours ago everything showed heavy clouds with many, many millimetres of rain, and I could almost feel a cosy night in with a pot of tea and a bedtime earlier than 5:30 in the morning brewing. But not in September, not in Yellowknife. With sometimes many kilometres of driving, days of heavy rains often turn into unexpected nights of clear skies. 

It feels we snatched victory from the hands of defeat, or so the saying goes...
