The Best View, Famous Last Words, and Internal Battles with Warmth

Spending time in the car, when it's -42, isn't just a nice idea, it should probably be mandatory. Do what I say, not what I do, right?
But there's just too much love for standing on a frozen lake, with the northern lights out above you, some 9,000 stars visible to the naked eye, including perhaps the most beautiful view of the Orion Nebula to date through some astronomy binoculars, and the most perfect clear, crisp - certainly crisp - night. This of course, all made easier to justify with a looming break-up on the horizon - literally. Those famous last words of 'just a little bit longer' again echoed into the morning hours.
