The End of the World It Isn't

Fear sells. 

When mainstream media catches wind of one coronal hole around solar minimum, all of a sudden power grids will fail, satellites will be knocked out, and citizens standing under streetlights in Mexico will be treated to the most terrific aurora show of their lifetime.

Not exactly. But slightly elevated geomagnetic conditions due to a coronal hole did give us another beautiful night under dead clear skies, after a third consecutive daytime high above 0°, for anyone counting.
