Say It Ain't So

"Tell me you're not just here for two nights", I said.

"We are."

Those two words may as well have been the two most frightening words together in the English language the last 48 hours. Two nights ago (unblogged), we found a handful of stars and the most faint, cloud surrounded smudge of northern lights in the history of aurora chasing. We did find a snowstorm to enjoy for almost all 70 kilometres back home after though. And then against all forecasts last night, clear skies and a late break-up after a gentle night of auroral arcs of faint green and deep reds (read camera vs. human eye experience).
