The Grand Finale into Hibernation
The end of my fourth aurora season in Yellowknife came to a close tonight, and I needed it.
I can’t sit here and tell you that right now I’m excited for August to come, because I’m really not. It’s been a long year, a really expensive year in vehicle maintenance among other things, and probably the most generally stressful year of my four so far, and I’m really, really ready for summer. But this finish tonight, a beautiful dance halfway back to town from where we started our evening was the most beautiful seasonal goodbye.
