Ice Scraper Weather Is Upon Us
It was a rainy, misty, faint horizon rainbows kind of day - which led for the first time this year to a little frost on the car windscreen before I left the house. It’s the time of year when I wonder how I’ll ever survive a winter outside every night at -30°. Humidity vs. dry air I tell myself. Now is the bone chilling cold. In another two months it’s just frigid and dry.
The aurora gods were kind to us tonight however. Conditions were generally very quiet, but still she grew to cover the sky above us with some beautiful arcs across the northern horizon.
