I of the Storm

These are the nights it's a race to get out of town, and a constant checking out every window every kilometre of the way through the countryside. How far can you get from town before finding a pull-off giving everyone juuust enough time to get fully set up for an early substorm in G2 conditions? 
Ohh, just far enough to be in the eye of geomagnetic storming.
