Connecting the Milky Way to Piano Keys

It was seconds. Just a matter of seconds between poking my head into the van and telling everyone to keep a close eye on the western horizon because it can happen very fast the aurora can fill the entire sky from here. As I closed the door and stepped to the front of the door, those few seconds had passed and it was happening. We went from the Milky Way to pinks, purples and greens vibrant to the eye, moving in curtains, piano keys, swirls, whatever else you want to call it, in seconds.
