All Over the (Weather) Map

It was supposed to be a clear sky stakeout on just the outskirts of town, not a 320 kilometre wild goose chase in every direction there are highways. But it's October - the lakes are warm (relatively), and the air is much cooler, which means we disregard any early conceived plans in favour of last minute weather updates and intuitive nudges.
